Wow! Are those carrots? They are huge!

They ARE! The carrots here are ginormous! I am not exactly sure how they get that way because I have heard that the soil is not good and there is not a high amount of nutritional value. I would be interested to know how true that is because the vegetable looks wonderful to me.
