It was a wild night in Nuku ‘alofa last Saturday night, when Tonga beat Lebanon in the World Cup quarter finals. The entire downtown district was cordoned off with barricades, and it seemed as if every Tongan on the island (all dressed in red) took to the streets in celebration.
I’ll be wearing my red t shirt on Saturday, when Tonga plays Great Britain.
